\*\*\*$250 sign-on bonus\*\*\* The Riley Center is looking to hire staff to work in our School Age before & after school programs.
We create nurturing environments that support each child's natural curiosity and creativity while stimulating their inherent love of learning.
Our programs are tailored to meet the needs and interests of the individual child, and emphasis is given to the development of the physical, emotional, social, and academic skills, providing a powerful educational foundation and enthusiastically preparing them for a fulfilling, self-expressed, and productive life.
Profile: -The person right for this job will have a true loving and nurturing heart for children and the ability to plan and implement curriculum and extracurricular activities.
-The individual we are looking for will exude warmth and vibrancy and have an aptitude for devising creative methods for learning.
You must always have patience, consistency, reliability, and care qualities.
-Strong leadership skills are a must for this position.
Responsibilities: -Instruct school-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth.
-Create a fun and safe learning environment -Be a positive mentor and leader to all students.
-Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime -Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents -Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress -Maintain the health and safety of all students -Participation in staff training, meetings, and events -Be a team player.
Minimum Requirements: -High school Diploma or equivalent required -College level Education courses preferred -Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields -Passionate about working with children -Ability to build rapport with children -Positive and patient demeanor -Friendly and welcoming personality -Excellent written and verbal communication skills Riley Center Values: Stable: traditional stable and strong processes People-oriented: supportive and fairness-focused Team-oriented: cooperative and collaborative Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.
