Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team.
As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.
Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Duties:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children ranging from infants to preschool-aged
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Create a safe and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive behavior management
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
- Change diapers, assist with potty training, and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive classroom environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare or related fields such as nannying or special education is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children
- Ability to provide individualized care based on each child's needs and abilities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
Skills:
- Classroom management
- Experience working with children of various ages
- Knowledge of childhood development stages
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Understanding of behavior management techniques in a classroom setting
- Proficiency in providing infant care, including diaper changing and feeding routines
