School Age & Flex Teacher (Summer Camp!)

Do you love children? Do you have a passion for education, child development, and fun? Are you loving and creative? We are looking for a teacher to join our team to work closely with children 4-12 years old for our after school & summer camp program! KidzPointe Academy has a fun atmosphere and is a close-knit community.
*Responsibilities* * Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.
) to teach children * Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem * Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments * Guide children to develop their capabilities with homework help * Organize snack hour and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times * Communicate with parents regularly * Collaborate with and assist other educators & substitute in classrooms * Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred) * Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * CPR Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
