We are currently seeking an experienced Family Child Care Home Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.
This is a full-time position.

We are a nonprofit Head Start organization that was established in 1974.
We serve migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families by providing high-quality early childhood education in a safe and nurturing environment.
We have nearly 50 campuses across 10 states, and we serve approximately 3,000 children each year.
Essential Functions
As the Family Child Care Home Specialist you will Coordinate and assist with training and workshops for the providers and parents.
You will also ensure that the family child care home program runs effectively by establishing relationships with local care providers who can care for children of low-income families.
What you need to be qualified
You must have excellent communication, organization and time management skills and proficient computer skills (Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and Outlook).
It is preferred that you have experience coaching, mentoring, and possess leadership and team building skills.
Additional requirements include:
Accepted: Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field; supervisory and related years of teaching experience.
Experience must be in a licensed day care center, comparable home day care or group child care program for children ages (0 – 5).
Preferred: Master in Early Childhood Education or related field; supervisory and related years of teaching experience.
Experience must be in Head Start, licensed day care center, comparable home day care or group child care program for children ages (0 – 5).
Starting: $46,000 - $58,000 depending on education and experience
