We have an opportunity for a Straight Truck Driver to deliver locally to customer’s docks and assist with unloading.

*Job Duties:*
Driving
A.
Responsible for transporting goods while operating a 26 ft straight truck.
B.
Responsible for adhering to applicable laws, FMCSA regulations, and state regulations
C.
Responsible for the application of appropriate incident procedures as necessary
Safety and Equipment
A.
Responsible for safely and effectively operating equipment including straight trucks with lift gates, pallet jacks, safety equipment, and emergency equipment.
B.
Responsible for the safe use of all vehicles and equipment.
C.
Responsible for following company policies and procedures, applicable safety procedures, and instruction from Transportation Manager and other supervisory staff.
D.
Responsible for pre-trip vehicle and load inspections prior to each departure and after-trip inspections at the end of each trip and document completed daily.
Customer Service
A.
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of deliveries and pick-ups to meet appointment deadlines and other client needs as assigned.
B.
Responsible for communication with supervisors, co-workers, employees, clients and other persons as necessary to enhance the overall efficiency of daily operations.
C.
Responsible for customer expectations being met and/or exceeded.
*Requirements:*
Class B or Chauffer license with at least two years driving experience
Good driving record and be able to meet insurance requirements
Ability to lift, push, pull 50 + pounds on a regular basis
Payrate starts at $18.
