The Warehouse Associate/Backup Delivery Driver will deliver equipment, supplies, and products using a company truck.
They are responsible for loading and unloading deliveries from the point of origin to the destination.
The Warehouse Associate/Backup Delivery Driver will also perform simple vehicle maintenance for the company vehicle they drive.
The role involves daily statewide travel as required.
What You Have
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment such as office printers and copiers
Excellent time management, with the ability to maintain a schedule and monitor working hours
Effective and responsible verbal communication with customers and internal VAF employees
Ability to gather and synthesize detailed information through listening and asking questions
High integrity, ethics, and honesty
What You'll Do
Deliver and set up all copier and print equipment
Facilitate delivery vehicle maintenance
Perform all maintenance duties with respect to demo rooms and warehouse
Unbox and stage copier and print equipment
Provide accurate and timely delivery and compilation of all required administrative duties
Assist with machine staging, set-up, and any other utility duties when needed
Operate warehouse equipment including stair climber, forklift, and pallet jack as required
Participate in training assigned by the Warehouse Manager
What You'll Bring to the Role
High school diploma or equivalent
Obtain and maintain Indiana commercial driver fitness requirements
Valid Indiana driver's license
Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
Be at least 21 years old and have 20/40 vision to meet driving requirements
Professional and well groomed to represent the company
Prior experience as a delivery driver
Prior experience in a mechanically technical role
Prior experience in a physically demanding role
