JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Non-emergency Medical Transportation Driver( ON-CALL DRIVER) Department: Operations Reporting to: Transportation Manager Classification: INDEPENDENT CONTRACT POSITION(LIKE UBER/LYFT) Compensation: $500 TO $800 / WEEK .
Effective Date: TBD Probation Period: 30 Day Orientation SUMMARY Provide the transportation of patients/clients to and from hospitals, convalescent facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices and their private residences in a safe, secure and professional manner.
REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE RELIABLE CAR FOR TRANSPORT) * Must be willing to work early mornings * Must be willing to drive any where around Indiana(long distances included) * Must comprehend, and comply with, the All Points Assisted Transportation Employee Handbook, Driver Manual, and Driver Training outline.
* Exceed minimum age requirement of 23 years.
* Must possess a valid Indiana Driver's license, * No more than 1 moving violation or 1 “at fault” accident within the past 3 years.
* Pass a mandatory pre‐employment drug and alcohol screening.
* Must pass a mandatory criminal background test.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Transporting patients and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
* Effective communicates with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions.
* Maintain a professional image and attitude in regards to clients, visitors and co‐workers.
* Complete daily vehicle pre‐trip and post trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
* Assist clients and patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
* Must understand instructions in English (both written and spoken).
* Must be able to accurately complete activity logs vehicle reports.
* Must be able to understand and operate GPS devices, 2 way radios, and cell phones.
* Perform all duties as assigned by All Points Assisted Transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $800.
00 - $1,500.
