Roles & Responsibilities:
Driver:
• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck, conducting daily pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
• Conduct daily inventories of tools and equipment required for daily operations.
• Utilize proper tools for final mile delivery (e.
g.
, Dolly, Straps, Tools, Blankets, Shoe Booties, NAH Door Tags, Face Masks).
• Perform daily inspections of deliverable items before receipt from the fulfillment center and final destination delivery.
• Deliver and install home appliances, including washing machines, dryers, stoves, and refrigerators (no range installation required).
• Use proprietary applications for arrival check-in, load-out, inspection pictures, and documentation.
• Responsible for loading, checkout, initial customer interaction upon arrival, taking pictures of all items delivered after installation, post-delivery inspection, and facility check at the end of the day.
Helper:
• Assist drivers in safely operating a 26-foot box truck, including daily pre-trip inspections.
• Aid in the daily inventories of tools and equipment required for daily operations.
• Properly use tools for final mile delivery (e.
g.
, Dolly, Straps, Tools, Blankets, Shoe Booties, NAH Door Tags, Face Masks).
• Assist with daily inspections of deliverable items to customers before receipt from the fulfillment center and final-destination delivery.
• Support in delivering and installing home appliances, including washing machines, dryers, stoves, and refrigerators (no installation required for ranges).
• Use proprietary applications for arrival check-in, load-out, inspection pictures, and documentation.
• Responsible for calling customers at least 30 minutes before arrival.
• Responsible for calling fulfillment at least 30 minutes before arrival for final checkout at the end of the day.
Qualifications:
• Background check is required for all applicants.
• Valid driver's license for Drivers, with the ability to obtain a for-hire decal.
• Lift, move, and install appliances.
