An Amazon Delivery Service Partner.
We are hiring delivery drivers in south Indianapolis, IN offering full time and part time opportunities.
What does a Delivery Associate do? * Drives an Amazon Branded Cargo Van to deliver Amazon packages to customers within a community.
* Commonly works 2 to 4 days per week depending on Full or Part Time Role.
* Typical working days are 10+ hours.
* Follows strict safety standards on and off the road.
* Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
* Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process.
* Dependable work 7 days a week.
*What are the basic requirements?* * Must be 21 + years of age and have a valid driver's license within Indiana.
NO SUSPENDED LICENSE WITHIN 7 YEARS.
* Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, GVWR 10,000 lbs.
or less.
* Must be able to move boxes up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Must be able to easily get in and out of the van 200x per day, without reasonable accommodation.
* Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers.
* Must work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
* Driving experience preferred.
*COVID-19 considerations:* Drivers are provided hand sanitizer spray, masks, and gloves for safety.
Our Drivers enjoy the comfort of making contactless deliveries out of a van in which they are by themselves to reduce risk of exposure.
All interactions at the station are made via 6 feet apart and with full respect of CDC guidelines.
