POSITON SUMMARY:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting and loading/unloading products between distribution centers and customers.
POSITION RESPONSIBILTES:
• Loads orders
• Transport orders to ensure materials are available at various sites.
• Operate delivery truck and follow dispatch instructions as required
• Unload deliveries to assigned site locations and/or to appropriate individuals
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections on equipment to ensure safe delivery
• Maintain accurate daily log
EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license
• High school diploma
• Ability to lift/carry shipments weighing up to 100 pounds several times a week.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
• Familiarly with using electronic handheld devices/smart phones
