Role Description:
As a Regional Driver at Red Baron Transportation in Indianapolis, IN, you will play a key role in our logistics operations, focusing on the safe and efficient handling of regional transportation routes.
Your primary responsibilities include taking an empty trailer from Indianapolis to Fort Wayne, transporting a loaded trailer from Fort Wayne to Remington, IN, and completing the route by returning to Indianapolis with a preloaded trailer.
This position is critical in ensuring the prompt and secure delivery of goods, maintaining our high standard of service excellence, and embodying our commitment to safety on every journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles
Adhere to assigned schedules and routes, ensuring timely completion.
Utilize electronic logging devices for job-related tasks.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.
Regular sitting and occasional lifting.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualification Standards:
Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Class A driving or related roles.
Exhibit strong attention to detail, adhering to schedules and delivery timelines.
Work well independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Possess a positive attitude, adaptability, and a solid work ethic.
Maintain a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Med Card).
Pre-employment drug screening, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
Own steel-toed shoes and gloves.

At least 3 years of experience.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, approximately 10 hours per day, with a start time between 9 and 10 am.
Occasionally required to drive other lanes and work on Saturdays once or twice a month as needed.
