Food Service Driver -5950 E. 23rd Street

Family Development Services is seeking a full time Food Service Driver.
This position is responsible for transporting meals to the Head Start Centers in Marion County and Hamilton County locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Operate agency vehicle/s safely and follow all traffic laws to deliver meals to appropriate center locations.
Maintain accurate records about the daily operations of the vehicle, as well as the daily transportation and service of meals/supplies to the centers on your route.
Load meals, supplies, and carriers from central kitchen onto truck or van.
Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected / unused food.
Maintain sanitary condition of food during transit and during delivery.
Work with others in the central kitchen to maintain safe and sanitary conditions.
Physical demands may include employee occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds Applicants must meet the basic qualifications for consideration: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be at least 18 years of age Valid Driver's License (Required) and/or CDL (Preferred) Previous related experience driving a commercial vehicle.
