Local Truck Driver Class A

Duties: - Operate semi truck - CDL required - Transport materials, goods, or equipment to and from specified destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while operating vehicles.
- Load and unload cargo or materials using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks, forklifts, or tankers.
- Proficient in driving manual/auto transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating various locations.
- Knowledge of freight handling and securing techniques.
Skills: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate different types of vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and safe transportation of goods.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks.
