McNeely Law LLP has an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 0-6 years experience interested in a litigation career and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This position is primarily for litigation matters involving automobile tort claims, with future development into additionally handling complex product liability and warranty claims.

*Primary Responsibilities**:*
Review investigative and insurance claim file information, prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence
Attend hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, fire scene inspections and laboratory evidence exams throughout the state of Indiana
Frequent telephone and in-person interaction with client representatives, courts, opposing attorneys, insureds, lay witnesses, expert witnesses
Communicate with attorneys and insurance claim representatives to negotiate cases to resolution
Perform online research and prepare research memoranda as needed
Evaluate cases and exercise judgment to determine effective solutions, discuss potential solutions and recommendations with client representatives
Update electronic case management system with new file developments according to internal case management procedures
Oversee and work with paralegals and support staff
Manage multiple deadlines and due dates effectively
Other tasks as needed
*Requirements**:*
Licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana
A desire to excel in a fast-paced litigation practice involving frequent court appearances that require in-state travel to any of the 92 counties throughout Indiana.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
Ability to work independently, managing competing priorities and a fluid schedule
Ability to work well with a variety of personalities in a team environment
Comfortable using a variety of computer programs as tools to improve efficiency
Moot court or other litigation experience is preferred but not required

Pay: $67,500.
