Legal Intern (Hybrid)

Description: As a Summer Legal Intern at Project Lead The Way (PLTW) you will have the opportunity to gain meaningful experience across the Legal function in key areas such as: Contract review and drafting Regulatory compliance Review intellectual property issues including trademark and copyright Nonprofit governance Data security and privacy regulation Legal research and writing You will work as a part of our Legal, Compliance, & Info Security Team to support a variety of projects and initiatives and play a part in day-to-day operations.

This is a full-time, paid internship.
The internship will last approximately ten (10) weeks beginning in May and ending in August.
As an Intern at PLTW you will: Participate in meaningful projects that directly impact our business and relate to your field of study Engage with stakeholders across the organization Have direct exposure to cross functional Leadership and opportunities to learn about the various business functions at PLTW Spend time with other summer interns and participate in foundational professional learning opportunities Requirements: Knowledge This internship is open to first or second year law students (rising 2Ls or 3Ls) Skills and Abilities Great interpersonal skills Ability to maintain professional demeanor and strict confidentiality of company information Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-oriented Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to take initiative and work proactively Ability to work independently, resourcefully seek answers, and remove obstacles Analytical and critical thinking skills Accountable and takes ownership Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
