*Job Description:*
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled attorney to join our family law practice.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for family law and a strong desire to advocate for clients going through challenging legal situations.
As an Associate Attorney, you will handle a variety of family law cases, providing legal advice, representation, and support to clients.
*Responsibilities:*
* Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, guardianships, adoptions, and more.
* Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
* Attend court hearings and depositions, advocating for clients' interests.
* Communicate effectively with clients to provide legal advice and keep them informed about case progress.
* Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
* Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff members within the firm.
* Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
* Stay up to date with changes in family law and legal precedents.
*Qualifications:*
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Active and good standing license to practice law in Indiana.
* 0-3 years of experience in family law or a related field.
* Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
* Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
* Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
