Contract Entry Specialist
Progressive company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Contract Entry Specialist.
The Contract Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering and managing all contracts into our system, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Responsibilities:
-Process and enter cemetery and/or funeral sales contracts into our system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
-Review contracts for key terms and conditions, including pricing, deliverables, and timelines.
-Verify contract information with legal and/or sales team members as necessary.
-Process and enter customer payments
-Record and post bank deposits
-Reconcile cemetery and funeral companies at month end
-Process and maintain ACC payments
-Generate refund and pre-need checks
-Prepare Events unearned income report
-Prepare and maintain open/closing report for accounting
-Reconcile credit Card reporting at month end for funeral and Events
-Coordinate with Funeral VP’s regarding PN to AN status, maintain AR
-Provide assistance to internal and external customers as well as support for other departments and staff.
-Coordinate workflow in conjunction with accounting and HR departments to ensure efficient workflow of information
-Assist with training contract entry staff
-Review Events contract entry and resolve issues for accounting in Reserve
-Prepare special reports as requested-
Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services, and contract templates.
-Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent data entry skills.
-Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and contract management software.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
-Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-Strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
