The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office is the largest Prosecutor’s Office in the State of Indiana.
The Trial Court Division prosecutes more than 29,000 cases annually and prosecutes more than 1 in 4 jury trials in the State.

*Position Summary:* The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office seeks attorneys dedicated to public service, public safety, and fairness and justice for all who come into contact with the juvenile justice system.
Juvenile Deputy Prosecutors carry a diverse caseload and appear on behalf of the State of Indiana in all delinquency proceedings.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office seeks a Deputy Prosecutor to handle major felony delinquent acts that would be considered major felony crimes if committed by an adult.
*Duties and responsibilities:* * Under general direction, handle major felony delinquency matters from initial hearing to disposition.
* Handle waiver hearings in the Juvenile Courts, as requested.
* Communicate with victims, witnesses, members of local, State, and Federal law enforcement, court personnel, and defense counsel.
* Review evidentiary and forensic reports.
* Work closely with the Victim Advocates and Latino Services Teams from the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
* Follow the Marion County Prosecutor’s personnel policies, particularly with regard to confidentiality * Attend trainings, as directed.
* Other related duties as assigned.

* $76,500 annual base salary.
