We are seeking a showroom assistant for our new Carmel, Indiana showroom.
The right person will be flexible in order to get the job done with the ability to be a multi tasker and have good administrative and analytical skills to stay focused on results, and is committed to continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, assertive and polished with a proven track record of building relationships over the phone and in person.
*Responsibilities:*
* Support inside sales staff: work in the CAI sales system; Uploading and applying money to orders, and uploading receipts.
* Facilitate all orders, after the sale has been completed.
* Direct communication with customers for shipping, delivery, and claim issues, etc.
* Communicate with vendors and trucking companies on a daily basis.
* Oversee extensive sample library of sales tools (keeping them organized and up to date).
* Handle all furniture claims to get them resolved in a timely manner.
* Assist designers if a seller is out of the showroom on sales calls
* In charge of the weekly showroom packet - checking and submitting to the corporate office on time.
* Inventory; work with merchandiser in showroom, placing product in showroom, photograph incoming inventory, tag and update tags with price changes.
* Wrapping of product for Approvals, inputting data for Approvals, and checking in product returned to make sure they are in good condition.
* Open and close the showroom each day.
Turn on lights, fluff pillows, put away sales aids etc.
* Phones – answer & offer assistance.
* Help organize chairs, food etc.
for events.
* Handle vendor supplies (organize and order replacements as needed)
* Misc.

*Required:*
