Primary Function:
The primary goal of this position is increase parts sales and provide a high level of customer support while working closely with the sales and service departments.
This position will report to the Parts Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify, locate and provide replacement parts for equipment, chassis accessories.
Identify correct part or suitable substitute based on examination or customer’s description.
Provide services in house, over the phone or via company website (e-mail).
Maintain inventory and track down rare parts on older machines and equipment.
Process sales payments.
Maintain warranty parts return requirements and core procedures.
Order parts from manufacturers and maintain adequate stock and inventory.
Keep stockroom organized and clean.
Assisting in billing and ensuring delivery of sold goods.
Other duties and responsibilities as delegated by management.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist Service Department with answering phones, customer write-up and pick up.
Assisting Service with shop estimates, contract estimates, parts and material acquisition.
Assist Road Technicians with parts logistics and acquisition.
Qualifications & Experience:
Should possess good written as well as verbal communication skills
Should have good interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and understanding their requirements.
Should have the aptitude to work as a team.
Should possess good time management skills and the ability of meeting targets.
High level of organizational skills and accountability.
2-3 years experience in equipment parts sales, parts inventory and management.
Warehouse experience, shipping and receiving.
Job Location:
Company headquarters – 5550 Poindexter Dr, Indianapolis IN (on site)
This position will be onsite and in-person 5 days a week in Indianapolis, IN.
