Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the town, including managing staff and resources
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
- Coordinate with various departments to address community needs and concerns
- Prepare and present reports to the town council on town activities, budgets, and projects
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to promote economic development and enhance quality of life
- Manage town finances, including budgeting, revenue collection, and expenditure control
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a municipal government setting
- Strong knowledge of local government operations, policies, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using computer software for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
- Strong organizational and time management skills
