Retail Furniture Design/Consultant

*HOUSEWORKS* is seeking a full-time design consultant to join our sales team.
Are you passionate about interior design and have a flair for sales? If so, we’re looking for a talented and motivated Sales Design Consultant to join our team at *HOUSEWORKS*.
As a Sales Design Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clientele, providing expert design advice and helping them find the perfect furniture pieces to elevate their living spaces.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* * Assist customers in selecting furniture and home décor items that align with their design preferences and lifestyle needs.
* Provide personalized design consultations and product recommendations to enhance the customer shopping experience.
* Build strong client relationships to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
* Stay updated on the latest design trends and product knowledge to communicate the features and benefits effectively to customers.
* Assist with merchandising and maintaining catalogs, fabrics, other sales tools and participating in overall store cleanliness and organization.
* Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
*QUALIFICATIONS * * Previous sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
* A strong passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetic.
* Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills.
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.
* Team player with an optimistic attitude.
* Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and design trends.
* Flexibility to work various shifts five days a week, which includes 3 Saturdays a month.
We are closed on Sundays.
