Nexgeneracers) is seeking an outgoing and knowledgeable individual to join our expanding team as the Development Director.
Successful candidates will possess a strong sense of purpose and interest in inviting others to be an integral part of the ongoing mission of NXG.
*Job Description* The Development Director is responsible for setting annual monetary goals and budgets that will provide for the ongoing growth and development of NXG.
They will establish fundraising objectives for NXG, and implement strategies to meet them.
The Development Director is a fulltime, exempt employee that reports to the NXG President and CEO.
*Essential Duties:* -Work with the Executive Director to execute the mission, purpose, and priorities of NXG.
-Set annual monetary goals and budgets according to the short-and long-term goals.
-Establish fundraising objectives for the organization, setting one year, five year, and longer-term goals.
-Cultivate relationships and maintain a list of potential financial donors including corporations, foundations, and individuals.
-Produce relevant and informative fundraising literature for distribution to previous donors and the public.
-Oversee the fundraising process and maintain records of receipts and disbursements of funds.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
-Be available to work non-traditional hours in conjunction with scheduled events.
*Knowledge:* -Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field required.
-Five years of experience in fundraising for a nonprofit organization highly preferred.
*Skills/Competencies:* -Extensive knowledge of fundraising strategies and principles.
-Excellent management skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-Knowledge of tax planning principles and techniques that favor charitable giving.
*Salary:* -Salary and compensation range is based on experience and qualifications.

NXG Youth Motorsports, Inc.
is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization offering experiential learning programs to students from under-represented communities, ages 11 to 15, using go-kart driving and motorsports as a tool for STEM concepts and application, life skill development, and career options.
NXG Youth Motorsports has introduced motorsports and open-wheel racing to 270 classes and 2,500 participants and their families, since its inception in 2006.
