THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years of experience in YMCA operations or membership-based organization with a history of success and growing profitability
• Demonstrated ability to encourage teams and staff; able to actively coach, mentor, and lead through complex initiatives, change and challenges
• Strong fiscal management skills, with the ability to develop, implement and manage budget and evaluate financial performance and act when needed
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with community partners, third-party organizations, and high-level volunteers for move work forward
• Ability to quickly understand data and use it to drive business decisions and planning
• Strong collaboration and influential leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of business imperatives, strategic priorities, funding opportunities and proven success in strategy development, implementation, and tactical execution
• Demonstrated and successful experience assessing situations, defining problems, collecting data, and drawing valid conclusions

Essential Functions:
Under the supervision of the COO, the Regional Vice President is responsible for the leadership, direction, and performance of a region of YMCA of Greater Indianapolis center operations and direct association wide initiatives.
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring strong performance metrics across their regional center operations
• Developing strategic and tactical plans that strengthen operational effectiveness,
• Designing operational efficiencies that maximize resources and assets across regions
• Develops high-performing, collaborative and innovative organizational teams that grow the YMCA
• Further our mission and values while intentionally advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
