Jaspen Group is a minority owned staffing firm with clients in Indiana and Kentucky.
One of our premier clients on the Northeast side of Indianapolis, IN is immediately interviewing for a temp to hire Marketing Manager.
This is a hybrid role on first shift.
Three days in the office and two days working from home.
Hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday.
Our client is in the Environmental industry.
They specialize in Industrial Hygiene, Natural Resources, NEPA Compliance, Cultural Resources and Water Resources Engineering.
Projects include municipal stormwater management, conducted a Further Site Investigation Report for IDEM and subsurface investigation in Muncie, IN.
They also provide services such as Historic Properties Report, Phase 1A Archaeological Short Report, Alternative Analysis, Waters Delineation, etc.
The Marketing Manager manages the promotion and positioning of the client’s brand and services as it relates to the AEC space (architecture, engineering and construction).
* The position manages the development and delivery of marketing initiatives/campaigns that meet the objectives of the client's strategic plans for its Environmental clients and Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
* The position organizes, plans, schedules, and manages the firm’s sales efforts in collaboration with the senior management team.
* The Marketing Manager will gather information on potential markets, clients, and projects to determine marketing objectives that will meet the firm's corporate goals.
* The position receives direction on type of clients and projects desired from the senior management team.
* Helps design relative marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
* The Marketing Manager develops creative concepts and marketing plans for execution that are relevant to the Environmental industry.
* They will manage marketing support activities to ensure that goals are accomplished, and deadlines are met.
* The Marketing Manager supports the marketing and business development efforts by administering the input, maintenance, and upkeep of their Cosential CRM database so that it performs at optimum level * Assist in development of background research on target markets and potential clients in the Environmental industry.
* Strategically converts business development initiatives and plans into effective marketing plans.
* Work with senior management to develop strategies to secure new clients and projects.
* Manages opportunity tracking in CRM system.
Follows up with senior managers on pending proposals.
* Reports on planned and executed sales activities to appropriate levels of management * Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates.
* Make commitments on behalf of firm only under previously established guidelines.
* Keeps firm management apprised of current and anticipated market conditions.
* Coordination of trade show activities * Offers strategic input to marketing plan, and coordinates marketing plan development.
* Manage collateral materials development, public relations and advertising programs, corporate identity development and implementation, special events, direct-mail programs, and market research activities.
* Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including community, government agencies and corporate partners.
* Manage qualification, proposal, and presentation activities.
* Plans and schedules marketing support activities to ensure that goals are accomplished, and deadlines are met.
* Develops marketing budget and reports on marketing program activities and achievements to firm senior management.
* Monitor websites and publications and distribute RFPs for a go/no-go decision * Work with technical staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work and coordinate with senior managers for scope and fees, if needed * Direct support staff, as well as technical staff in marketing functions.
* With input from firm senior management, establishes marketing policies and procedures.
* Responsible for overall marketing staff training and marketing-related technical staff training * Responsible for the look and feel of the website and ensuring that it is current and consistent * Oversight of client's social media and external communications * Strategize with and educate senior management team and other across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and all services areas * Coordinate and direct the efforts of specialized consultants, such as photographers, public relations, or graphic design firms.
* Establishes relationships with media representatives; coordinates public relations activities.
* Establish KPIs and measuring the ROI of marketing initiatives to demonstrate the impact of the organization's efforts.
* Actively involved in professional and community organizations, including SMPS Required Skills: * Comprehensive knowledge of firm's practice, services, clientele, goals, policies, and procedures * Understanding of environmental issues, sustainability principles, and current trends in the environmental field is crucial.
This knowledge helps in creating campaigns and corporate branding and proposal materials.
* Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals.
* The ability to think creatively and come up with innovative marketing campaigns.
* Experience with technical writing in materials such as proposals.
* Previous working experience in Architecture, Engineering and Construction industries and understanding industry terminology and delivery methods.
* 3-5 years of Graphic Design experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Indesign * Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor marketing projects efficiently.
This includes managing budgets, timelines, and coordinating with various teams within the organization.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills * Communication skills must be impeccable * Ability to operate under tight deadlines and prioritize * Sound judgment and confidentiality * Attention to detail * Ability to manage last minute and urgent requests * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Experience with print production techniques.
