The Indianapolis Racquet Club Pro Shops, a Tennis Industry Association awarded and recognized tennis specialty retailer, seeks a proven and motivated selling specialist for the selling floor of IRC’s flagship location.
The Pro Shop Tennis Selling Specialist, reporting to the Selling Floor Manager, is a member of the selling floor sales team at the Dean Road Pro Shop focusing on driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to members, clients, and customers.
Responsibilities include creating and executing proactive sales strategies and client development; personally interacting and selling to end users; and inventory turn and management, including regular stock fill-in of the selling floor, physical stock counts, and general floor merchandising, maintenance, and cleaning.
The Tennis Selling Specialist will exhibit a strong skill set including: a professional, positive attitude and motivating team building focus; excellent communication and social skills; strong organizational skills, including attention to detail; ability to problem solve, and deal with adversity; strong statistical skills; and comfort and expertise with retail POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
Ideally this person will have experience within the tennis industry and a love and passion for the sport of tennis.
Compensation for this full-time position is an hourly rate and full-time employee benefits.
