Overview
Model 1 seeks a dynamic individual as the Director of Aftermarket Parts Sales to continue our company's unprecedented history of growth and success.
As the Director of Aftermarket Parts Sales, you will work directly with the executive team to establish and execute the organization's aftermarket parts sales strategy.
This position will collaborate with all the department managers to ensure alignment between departments and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a results-driven leader who develops and executes strategic sales plans and fosters a high-performance sales culture.
Establishing and cultivating strategic partnerships with customers is critical to this role.
As the Director of Aftermarket Parts Sales, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President.

Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Set sales targets and performance metrics and regularly report on progress to the executive team.
Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Provide coaching and guidance to sales professionals to improve their skills and productivity.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the sales department.
Revenue Generation: Lead by example and actively engage in critical sales activities, including prospecting, client meetings, and closing deals.
Drive the sales team to meet and exceed revenue goals and ensure the sales pipeline is consistently full.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Ensure that customer needs are understood and met Resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement sales automation tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
Proficient with a CRM – HubSpot preferred.
Market Expansion: Identify new markets, industries, and customer segments for potential business growth.
Develop market entry and expansion strategies in collaboration with the executive team.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget, including forecasting and resource allocation.
Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
Proven track record of at least ten years of successful sales leadership, preferably in aftermarket parts sales.
Strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to build a successful department.
Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience preferred selling into industries such as assisted living facilities, skilled nursing, contractors, hotels/hospitality, tour/charter, and other commercial vehicle revenue operators.
Proficient in basic accounting principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities focusing on building long-term customer relationships.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using CRM software, MS Office suite, and other sales tools.
Proficient in using MS Teams and Zoom for internal and external remote meetings.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
Travel up to 20%.
