The role of Inside Account Manager (AM) is a critical one within Model 1 Commercial Vehicles.
In this role, the Inside Account Manager will oversee the vehicle sales process from point of sales through to delivery, ensuring a smooth and efficient purchasing experience for our customers.
The AM will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded.
To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to prioritize their workload, efficiently communicate lead times, be articulate with their responses, and have an operational mindset.
An Inside Account Manager directly contributes to the success of Model 1 by retaining current customers while allowing the Sales Representative(s) to obtain more customers and earn more business for the company.

Responsibilities Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role: Manage the vehicle delivery process from receipt of purchase order, through invoicing, vehicle registration, parts/purchasing, and shop inspection, to delivery.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Supply assigned sales representative(s) with regular updates throughout the week regarding the status of their sold vehicles and where they are within the sales process; Elevate issues as needed during the week.
Provide pre-sales support to sales representative(s) and post-sales support to customers.
Develop and maintain business relationships with internal customers.
Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers to purchase vehicles.
Provide support to assigned sales representative(s) by answering all product related questions promptly – product training, pricing, and marketing material.
Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
Maintain knowledge of product line to: Understand specifications and requirements.
Analyze market trends.
Be able to communicate our vehicle offerings with customers.
Collaborate and strategize with outside sales and management to develop new tools increasing outside sales efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
Secondary Duties: When the Inside Sales department is short-staffed due to vacation or illness, serve as a backup answering phone calls and internet leads, determining if they are a Transactional customer, Account, or National Account.
Assign these phone calls to the correct sales representative.

Vehicle industry experience required.

Through problem-solving, must possess the ability to independently determine solutions for customers.
Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This role requires customer interface via mostly email with some phone calls.
Account Managers also communicate via phone with vendors, in-person with administrative staff, and various methods with their assigned sales representative(s).
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
) applications and contact management software.
Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
