*Overview:* The Director of Investor Relations will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the relationships between BAM Capital and its investors.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Investor Relations, the Director will be responsible for overseeing projects, initiatives, and communication strategies aimed at fostering strong connections with the investor community.
A primary focus will be on leading the Relationship Manager channel as it expands, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
*Required Technical Skills: * * _*Project and Initiative Management:*_ ○ Lead and execute various projects and initiatives related to investor relations, ensuring alignment with BAM Capital’s overall goals.
○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and insights for investor communications.
* _*Support to VP of IR*_ ○ Provide direct support to the Vice President of Investor Relations in crafting and implementing strategies to engage and communicate with investors effectively.
○ Assist in the preparation of materials for investor presentations, conferences, and meetings.
* _*Quarterly/Semi-Annual Check-In Reviews*_ ○ Conduct quarterly or semi-annual review calls with investors to provide updates on the company's performance, financial results, strategic initiatives, and gather data for Voice of Customer.
○ Address investor inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
* _*Relationship Manager Channel Management:*_ ○ Oversee the Relationship Manager channel and act as a key point of contact for relationship managers, ensuring alignment with the overall investor relations strategy and investor call objectives.
○ Develop and implement programs to enhance the quality of interactions and communication with investors through relationship managers.
* _*Communication Strategy:*_ ○ Collaborate with the VP of IR to develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure consistent and transparent messaging to the investor community.
○ Maintain communications calendar and cadence to ensure transparency with investors.
○ Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to create compelling materials for investors.
*Qualifications:* * _*Educational Background:*_ ○ Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, communications, or a related field.
* _*Experience*_: ○ Proven experience in investor relations, financial reporting, communications, or related fields.
○ Demonstrated success in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
○ Experience in conducting investor calls and managing relationships with investors.
* _*Communication Skills*_: ○ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
○ Ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
○ Experience working with both HQ and remote team members, with the ability to work across teams to achieve desired goals.
* _*Industry Knowledge*_: ○ Strong understanding of the real estate and private equity industry.
○ Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in investor relations.
* _*Relationship Management*_: ○ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors and other stakeholders.
○ Experience in managing a team or channel of relationship managers is highly desirable.
* _*Analytical Skills*_: ○ Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyze financial data, for the purposes of both investor communication and team management.
*Requirements:* ● Ability to travel to HQ and/or in-person investor meetings at a minimum of every two month basis.
