Responsibilities
The Events Coordinator Head Intern’s responsibilities will cross over into all areas of the Java House operations, and will be expected to perform their duties collaboratively, as assigned by Java House business heads throughout the summer season
Responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, communicating with teams and vendors, and execution
Work alongside sales, marketing, and managing partner on special projects throughout the summer
Plan, promote, and execute all summer events including; the Indy 500, Artomobilia, Local Farmers Markets, Indianapolis Cars and Coffee, and the Butler Bulldog Jog
Interact with clients for pre-event meetings as well as day of event
Open Availability – hours will vary each week based on the events schedule
Travel ranges within the greater Indianapolis area, with the potential of Lafayette locations – personal mileage will be compensated
Qualifications
Head intern must be a motivated self-starter, whom isn’t hesitant on cold-calling, recruiting, scheduling, and leading a team of 4-5 members
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal
Flexibility
Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects at once
Valid driver’s license
