JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The Director, Marketing & Advertising is responsible for oversight of the product marketing and digital marketing teams.
They will support efforts from their team on USA Football product and sales promotions, while focusing themselves on ideation, deployment and some execution of advertising materials and strategies related to expanding the reach and deepening the affinity of USA Football as a brand with current and new customers.
The individual in this role will lead internal presentations, oversee documentation and ask critical questions from product owners and other internal stakeholders to help inform the collective team about projects and the impact on USA Football overall.
They will analyze customer behavior and identify expansion opportunities.
They are self-motivated and will follow-up to get the answers they need to ensure we can deliver a great experience for the football marketplace.
The role must be able to deliver a vision to simplify the various offerings from USA Football to enhance customer and prospect understanding.
They need to balance being a visionary leader with a passion for marketing while also helping to execute the efforts alongside the team.
Finally, they will work closely with our consulting team to help foster sales and sponsor enablement and work collaboratively with other departments to drive success.
Key Areas of Ownership/Focus Website vision and oversight of maintenance across primary brand and products/programs/services Distribution / deployment of our stories, advertising materials and measurement related to the main brand and oversight of product/program Go-to-Market activities Collaboration with Brand, Comms and Creative on storyboarding Execution of copywriting Budget oversight and targeted buys of advertising across all spectrums – including paid social, OOH, and other media outlets Development of Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), personas and naming conventions Define targeted geographic regions/demos for expanded marketing outreach Onsite 3rd party event marketing activations such as booths Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Set vision for customer journeys, website landing pages, advertising campaigns and efforts related to raising the profile of USA Football.
Oversee Product and Digital marketing team and outputs along with their cross-collaboration with areas of the business.
Provide target audiences and channels for deployment to the head of Brand Engagement and their team to help craft narratives that elevate USA Football’s Brand or drive more awareness to it.
Directly manage and help execute campaign strategies for the main USA Football brand while supporting team’s work on our various products, programs and services Work with stakeholders to identify and report on activities and measures related to key company metrics/goals Ideate, storyboard and create campaigns within team and alongside brand team on advertising opportunities From an advertising perspective, approve messaging and collateral for promotion of USA Football as a brand plus its products and services Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budget reviews to ensure efficiency, proper spend and opportunities for re-allocation Develop Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), personas and naming conventions alongside Consulting Sales and other departments Manage on-site booth layout, logistics and strategies for USA Football Marketing and Consulting Sales efforts at owned and 3rd party events, working with Head of Brand Engagement as necessary With Brand and Consulting team, create strategies to elevate affinity to USA Football with various customer segments, including leveraging membership and measuring by audience and list growth with product and digital marketing teams Oversee USA Football website and craft landing page strategies that coordinate with various campaigns and efforts – working with Email & Digital Marketing Manager who handles day-to-day execution Along with Consulting Sales and product owners, develop in-market strategies for key regions in the country to elevate USA Football’s efforts in that area Along with Education & Research, identify ways to measure our brand reach and impact and improve results year-over-year Work with Brand team on capture plans to identify what we need to future efforts, including crafting questions, scripts or shot lists Work with sponsorship activation teams on efforts to align our brand with partners Stay up-to-date on tech trends and identify tools and assets needed improve workflow for our teams or the customer experience Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.

Wrike) Demonstrated ability to take complex ideas and work with teams to simplify them into easily digestible assets, tools or resources Ideally, experience in both B2B and B2C brands with bonus points for work with NGBs or brands that work with both audience types Demonstratable experience in creating strong working relationships with cross functional teams Organization skills including ability to handle high volume of detail-oriented work Excellence oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills High level ability to create/edit messaging/copy Proficiency in Google Analytics, Content Management Systems (CMS), Excel and advertising deployment and marketing platforms Excellent organizational skills and analytical abilities Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and SEO best practices As required by Equal Pay Transparency Act, USA Football provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles.
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, etc.
The pay range for this position is as follows: $77,847 - $124,353 This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
