ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understanding sales terms and functions
Entering orders received from our National Rep Firm and agencies
Monitoring and helping to execute all national and corporate sales orders and campaigns
Processing make-goods and exceptions for national and corporate orders which will in many cases entail working closely with the traffic department
Communicating regularly with our National Rep Firm and agencies via email and phone
Engaging with and monitoring the National Rep Firm order system
Creating presentations, sales kits and recaps primarily for national use
Must have reasonable knowledge of and experience with PowerPoint
Participating in local market sales, promotions, and programming meetings as requested in order to represent national sales and to bring opportunities for revenue generation back to the National Sales team
Managing National Sales Pending Reports on an ongoing basis
Assist in collections with national agencies and accounts
Providing clerical support including filing of contracts
Assisting with national promotions such as remotes and events
Entering digital orders and digital components into Ando or similar system
Assisting with receptionist desk duties when needed
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Flexible schedule, with the ability and willingness to work varied hours on the weekdays, and weekends
Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the station’s clients and listeners
Can work well independently and as an integral part of the team
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College preferred but not required.
Six months to one year related experience and/or training
Experience with CRM software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint presentations and Excel
