Sales Development Consultant
Location: Indianapolis, IN; position is a hybrid position that requires 1-2 days/week in the office
The Sales Development Consultant is responsible for providing the vital link between sales and operations.
Eliminates sales and retention obstacles.
How you will make an impact:
Quickly addresses questions from the agency force about products or administrative issues.
Anticipates and addresses some of the stickiest questions from some of our toughest agency customers.
Provides an area of last resort to work through lingering agent or client issues.
Provides information on all new products prior to introduction.
Updates and trains the sales team on messaging products and changes.
Champions sales in support of sales leadership initiatives, sales collateral and forms, broker communications, technical administrative plans or marketing changes and product development.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Capabilities, Experiences and Skills:
Extensive knowledge of the sales process, working knowledge of Individual and Small Group products and operation processes strongly preferred.
Ability to lead meetings/presentations preferred.
