Description
The Carelon Account Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating account contractual requirements, as the primary customer contact for retention of assigned accounts.
How you will make an impact:
Supports the execution of delegated contractual responsibilities, drives account performance and retention strategy for a defined book of accounts.
Collaborate with and influence internal partners to resolve account issues and coordinate resolution.
Provides support for client meetings and presentations and helps prepare materials for proposals and updates on growth opportunities.
Supports rebid or renewal process for accounts, including renewal analysis and preparation of client facing materials.
Develops and maintains relationships with external stakeholders to ensure customer success.
Perform special projects or participate in select initiatives as assigned.
Understands and leverages data on account performance and provides input on the regional growth strategy each year
Lead and influence communications with leadership on company value proposition and alignment to client strategy
Manage client expectations and negotiates mutually beneficial contract terms and deliverables with the client team
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or sales; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Experiences:
Behavioral health experience
Healthcare experience specific to managed care
