The Sales Development Manager will oversee the sales process improvement within Bone Dry Roofing.
The position will direct local market sales team leaders through training, skills development, co-travel, and coaching.
Further, the role will assist the local market leader with recruiting when necessary.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to motivate a team.
You will be leading a salesforce of Bone Dry which consists of 17 branches within 7 states.
Responsibilities
Recruit, hire, train, and ramp up a team of branch-level sales leads and coach them in developing consultative and solution-based skills via the WECARE system.
Looks to build trust through accountability, and collaborative/consultative skills development.
The focus is to help develop the branch sales leader who will support the local sales activities.
Activities to include co-travel, training, and coaching of the selling team.
Develop and maintain relationships and ensure communication flow with the Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and sales individuals.
Monitor and refine sales lead processes, metrics, reporting, and tools to maximize efficiency.
Understand and provide competitor information and insights related to strategy and product.
Provide local markets with direction backed by dashboards and other analytics.
Qualifications
5 or more years or related sales and sales development/coaching experience
Experience with customer relationship management software required
50% travel
Detail-oriented
Tenacious ability to be persistent
Self-starter capable of creating an internal sense of urgency
Desire to be disruptive to an entrenched market
Champion of the WECARE sale process
Affable and approachable
Resilient and keeps a positive outlook
Concise and constructive communicator, both internally and externally - clear, informative, and tailored to each audience
