Reservations Sales Agent

General Hotels Corporation is seeking a candidate for the position of Reservations Sales Agent.
This position is a full time, hourly position that reports to the Corporate Reservations Manager.
We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic, hospitality professional, to provide finalization of reservations for multiple hotels and brands for the hours of 8am to 7pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 6pm Saturdays with Sundays off.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Great attention to detail The ability to flourish in a team environment or alone Data entry skills Self-motivation Outstanding customer service The ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication skills A professional phone voice and etiquette Critical thinking capabilities The ability to multi task with phone operations and data processing simultaneously REQUIREMENTS (1) to (2) year(s) related work experience in call center or customer service Experience with Microsoft Word, DOS Base Systems, Holidex and Marsha Working knowledge of Choice Advantage systems Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Organized team player with the ability to work within tight and changing deadlines Rotation into a Saturday Office Coverage schedule every 1 to 2 weeks from 9am to 6pm On-site position
