Introduction:
Labcorp seeks a creative and motivated Communications and Engagement Intern.
As a Communications and Engagement Intern at Labcorp, you will be responsible for helping employees feel deeply connected to our mission at Labcorp.
You may create communications content, such as intranet copy and design, blog posts, social media posts, employee emails, executive presentations and other communications collateral that showcase our Labcorp story.
In this role, you may also handle tasks such as taking notes in team meetings, auditing content, preparing briefs and presentations, and researching best practices.
Our ideal candidate must have excellent writing, problem-solving, and communication skills and should be digitally savvy.
You must demonstrate the willingness to learn new skills and harness industry-relevant technologies.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is not only a fast learner but also a creative and visual writer.
The candidate should be passionate about producing content that effectively communicates complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Familiarity with healthcare business insights is a valuable bonus.
This will be a HYBRID opportunity in office 2-3 days in Indianapolis.
MUST be currently enrolled and pursuing degree
Candidates from Communications, Digital Marketing/Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or Media backgrounds are preferred.
Able to operate in a business and executive environment
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Able to use discretion when presented with sensitive information or confidential issues
Proven ability to adapt quickly to change
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint and Word is strongly preferred
Pay Range $20-24/hr depending on experience
