JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department.
The assignments are related to the academic major and the degree of the Intern.
The assignments may include conducting research.
As possible, a reasonable balance will be made between the intern's learning goals and the specific assignments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with leadership to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
Works with the department prioritizing work assignments and act as a liaison with other departments.
Performs a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce, as well as Internet Basics
GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Good time management
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to plan and arrange activities
Interpersonal communication skills
Good verbal and written skills
Ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information

WORK EXPERIENCE:
No experience required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%.
Office environment.
