Join our dynamic team as a Development Manager for the JDRF One Walk program in the Indiana and Kentucky Chapter, with a primary focus on Indiana.
We are seeking a motivated individual who will drive fundraising success through strategic planning, volunteer engagement, and exceptional stewardship.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue growth, and recruit volunteers.
Your role will involve managing event logistics, overseeing volunteer committees, and maximizing team participation to achieve revenue goals.
Additionally, you will play a crucial part in building and stewarding relationships with community leaders and corporate partners.
This hybrid position is based in Indianapolis, IN Responsibilities: • Implement the One Walk program in Indiana which currently includes two walks—Indianapolis and Holiday World.
• Collaborate with national and regional teams.
• Develop strategic plans to ensure revenue growth and engagement in the One Walk program.
• Recruit and manage a pipeline of volunteers, community leaders, and donors.
• Cultivate relationships with new donors and prospects through proactive outreach.
• Manage event logistics and support various fundraising activities.
• Assist with chapter operations and CRM database management.
• Utilize CRM data to maximize donor pipeline management.
• Support other fundraising events and chapter activities as needed.
Qualifications: • College degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in fundraising or relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of CRM databases, Salesforce preferred.
• Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and volunteers.
• Experience in prospect research and donor acquisition strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel within the chapter footprint and work occasional evenings and weekends.
