*About the Position*
The Sales Representative demonstrates the ability to grow sales in the paint and coatings related industry.
They are responsible for sales in a defined territory to identify new customers for coatings and paint/chemical equipment sales, as well as maintain and grow existing customer relationships.
The Sales Representative reports to the Sales Manager.
*Key Responsibilities*
· To represent the company and its Core Values (Treat People Right, Make a Quality Product, Pursue Growth).
· Scheduling and planning sales travel and meetings to grow sales in designated territory.
· Sales, Installation, and Training of all coatings, chemicals, and equipment with new and existing direct OEM customers.
· Reporting of sales activities and upcoming scheduling in Customer Relations Management data base.
· Strategize and market to identify new coating and equipment customers along with potential opportunities.
· Build lasting relationships with existing and new customer base.
· Achieve company metrics with face-to-face sales calls to meet sales objectives and grow territory.
*What We’re Looking For *
· Bachelor degree preferred
· 5 years Sales Experience required
· Willingness and ability to grow and maintain sales in paint and coatings-related industry
· Strong organization, time, and territory management skills
· Proven record of identifying new customers in niche markets
· Exceptional customer relationship skills focused on building long-term relationships
· Mechanical Knowledge and selling capability of paint and chemical related equipment
· Confident, disciplined, and self-motivated
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
