Amphenol TPC Wire & Cable is currently searching for a _*Field Sales Representative.
*_This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding overall sales objectives while ensuring a high level of customer service when promoting TPC products and strategic initiatives.
*The ideal candidate will live in or near the Dayton, OH area and will have a geographic area including Dayton, OH and Indianapolis, IN.
*
*Responsibilities*
* Works with direct manager on opportunities to drive growth and support key business strategies
* Effectively communicate the features and benefits of TPC products within an industrial environment directly to end user customers
* Develop a territory plan to maximize face time with customers and drive new sales within an assigned territory
* Expand market share in existing and new strategic and high potential accounts
* Forecast future revenue, business development opportunities and market trends within assigned territory
* Other duties as assigned
*Experience Required*
* 5+ years outside sales experience, preferably in an industrial setting
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives
* Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
* Ability to sell value (total cost of ownership) vs price
* Must be able to work remote and travel to visit customers in territory regularly
* Ability to embrace change
*Preferred*
* Previous experience managing a geographic sales territory
* Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial distribution, engineering/technology or related degree
* Previous industrial wire & cable sales experience is a plus
