Principal Function:Provides directional parking guidance for guests as they arrive on the property for Symphony on the Prairie and Conner Prairie Festivals.
Pulls trash and recycling containers during and after events.
Note: this position is not a valet and will only provide location assistance for guest parking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: Arrives on-time.
Available to work evenings for programmatic events.
Wears a safety vest while parking cars.
Directs traffic in a professional and safe manner.
Pulls trash and recycling as necessary and per designated schedule, tying bag at the top and setting next to trash container.
Replaces used bags with new ones.
Pulls trash and recycling bags at the end of event helping to load into wagons or golf carts to bring back to appropriate facilities’ dumpsters.
Walks grounds at the end of event to pick up any additional trash not placed in trash boxes.
Provides support for cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and other areas as needed.
Using cell phones is only allowed during designated breaks and meals periods if applicable.
Education and/or Experience: Must be a minimum of sixteen years (16) years old.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
