*Role Description:* The Associate Director of Direct Care will act as the second in command for the Direct Care Senior Director and the first point of contact for all inquiries.
The Associate Director of Direct Care will support the Executive and Direct Care teams in their efforts to lead and propel the organization forward.
The Associate Director of Direct Care will be responsible for multiple objectives for ASI, which include, but are not limited to: *1.
* *Family Support* * Respond to all info calls and emails within 48 hours.
* Revise/update Resource information on the website as necessary.
* Create and continually build upon state-wide resource database.
* Inform families, both new and established, about updates and benefits of the family and participant portals in AxisCare.
*2.
* *Direct Care Support* * Process all participant Notices of Action (NOAs) and Person-Centered Individual Support Plans (PCISPs).
* Process new participant paperwork.
* Compile and send out binders to new Direct Care participants.
* Act as backup for processes associated with the Senior Director, including but not limited to, visit verification, compliance updates, and notes audits.
*3.
* *Direct Care Leadership* * Create and maintain onboarding process for new Direct Care staff members.
* Lead training and support for new Direct Care staff members.
*4.
* *Office Support* * Process mail and packages.
_Qualifications:_ * Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience preferred * Competence in Microsoft Office * Excellent organizational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects * Ability to handle confidential information and keep accurate records * Strong email, phone and in-person communication skills * Ability to work with families of individuals with Autism from culturally and/or socio-economic diverse backgrounds The Autism Society of Indiana is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
