Thompson Thrift is hiring a full-time Land Acquisition Manager to work out of the corporate Indianapolis, IN office.
The Land Acquisition Manager will assist the Acquisitions Team in all aspects of market research, financial modeling, financing package completion, and any and all other items requested as required.
Duties and Responsibilities Market Research Researching and documenting rent and sold comparables.
Research, assimilate and extract key demographic and market data.
Assist Acquisitions Team in researching and documenting applicable cap rates.
Research and document real estate taxes, transfer taxes and title fees.
Proforma Assistance Learn pro-forma template and its functions.
Within first 6 months of employment, be able to complete a new pro-forma from start to finish and circulate to Acquisitions Team.
Financial and Investor Packages Assist Acquisitions Team with preparation of investment committee packages.
Assist Acquisitions Team with preparation of financing packages.
Assist Acquisitions Team with preparation of investor packages.
Assemble marketing materials, key demographic information, etc.
needed for package.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required in the area of Business or Finance.
Computer literate with experience in Microsoft programs Word, Excel.
Detail oriented, purpose driven.
Able to set and meet deadlines.
Experience in acquisitions, site selection and underwriting preferred.

Performing this job will sometimes require the employee to walk work sites that do not have infrastructure, this includes walking on uneven surfaces, through mud, through ruts, etc.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
